ER Docs Want To Know More About Synthetic Marijuana

As the use of synthetic marijuana grows among teens, some ER doctors have difficulty recognizing signs of overdose.
According to USATODAY,com , three case studies of teens and young adults highlight the “telltale signs” of synthetic marijuana abuse. Some of the signs include excessive sweating, agitation, inability to speak, restlessness, aggressiveness, in addition to the euphoric effects.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, one in nine teens has tried synthetic marijuana. The substance does not show up in a drug test, and it is still legal in many places, although bans are being put in place in many parts of the country.
