Wade Michael Page Had A Long History Of Problems With Alcohol, Perhaps Even Alcoholism

Recent findings and reports have exposed the fact that the Sikh temple gunman had a problem with alcohol for quite a long time.

In fact, it is alleged that 40 year old Wade Michael Page’s difficulty with managing his alcoholism cut short his military career and is responsible for his recent termination from his post as a truck driver.

Following his mass killing [six individuals died] of worshippers at a Sikh temple on Sunday, a responding officer shot and killed the Wisconsin man, now infamously referred to as the Sikh shooter. Before Page was killed, he also shot another officer.

With that said, as far back as 1998, Page appears to have had difficulty managing his alcohol, as he was discharged from the Army, after superiors discovered he was intoxicated during military exercises.

Approximately a year later, while in Colorado, he was arrested, charged and convicted of driving while under the influence.

Tuesday morning, a previous employer of Page divulged that after he was stopped by police in North Carolina under suspicion of driving while impaired, two years ago, his employment was terminated.

Page worked for the company, Barr-Nunn Transportation, from 2006 to 2010, as a driver, before the company fired him after he was cited for driving while impaired, in his personal vehicle, in North Carolina.

Meanwhile, Wade Michael Page allegedly was a member of perhaps the most widely unfavorable and extremely forceful white supremacy group, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization.

Other the other hand, Christopher Robillard, an Oregon man, and close friend of the late Page, depicted Page as kind and gentle, with an empathic heart. Robillard also confirmed that Page was discharged from the Army due the fact that he refused to show up to formation sober.

During an interview with CNN, Robillard did confirm that Page was engaged in white supremacy activity.

Although Robillard stated that Page often spoke of racial holy war conspiracies, he never expected Page would harm or kill anyone.

In fact, Robillard explained that Page spoke of incendiary aspects to get attention because he was often very lonely, even in a roomful full of people, as Robillard put it.

After leaving the Army, in a less than graceful manner, Page left Colorado, and moved to rural North Carolina, after selling all his property, less his motorcycle.

Not before long, he was involved in some of the most widely prominent white supremacy musical bands.

Meanwhile, Page developed severe financial problems after losing his job of four years, as divulged above, and his house was foreclosed upon, as he fell too far behind in payments.
